Hey Guys,
Sorry I haven't updated in such a long time -_-. I have been very busy with school, and some other things.

Anyway I am going to show you guys how to make quick, easy, low fat, low calorie Morning Glory Muffins.

To make them you will need:
3 eggs (or 2 eggs and 1/3 a cup of egg whites)
1 cup flour
1 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour (or if you really want to lower the calorie count 1 1/2 cup of rolled oats blended in your blender it works just as well as normal flour, if you want to you can substitute all the flour for rolled oats, this will be really helpful if you are gluten intolerant)
2 tsp of vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
3/4 of a cup sugar (or you could use stevia, you can also change the sugar measurements depending on how sweet you like your muffins, side note stevia is stronger than normal sugar)
2 1/2 tsp of baking soda
1/4 tsp of salt
1/4 of a cup vegetable oil
2 cups of grated carrot (this is about three large carrots)
1/2 a mashed banana
1/2 cup of raisins
1/2 cup of walnuts
1 grated apple
1/4 of a cup unsweetened coconut
3/4 of a cup crushed pineapple

PS you can leave out any fruits you don't like,  the vanilla, or cinnamon, or replace them with other things of a similar texture

What to do:
Preheat your oven to 175 C.Mix all of your ingredients together and put into your muffin tray. Bake for about 20 minutes or until you can poke a toothpick through and it comes out clean.

This recipe will make about 12-20 muffins depending on their size. Each muffin has about 230 calories.

happy baking,

Jemma

Friday 25 October 2013

Hey Guys,
Sorry I haven't updated in a while. But I have some really good reasons. Number one I have end of year exams in three weeks. On Wednesday I go to my new school to take a test and choose my subjects. Then I was sick on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. I had an internal infection/fever. I was in bed the whole time, plus I'm still recovering. Not to mention I had some stuff to catch up on so I was busy, (right now I am writing an essay that is due Wednesday, plus I have a science assignment due on Friday).  Last of all my birthday party is tomorrow. So as you guys can see I have a ton of stuff on. Before I forget I am going to Taiwan on the 21st of November, 27 days from now.

Something I'm excited about is my birthday party, and I just got a new sim card today. This means I can text my friends without internet (viber). Not to mention going to Taiwan in 27 days

Something I am not looking forward to the test in three weeks, the test on Wednesday, the due dates for my assignments.

A book I'm enjoying is Not My Fairytale by rlucas98.

A song I'm LOOVING right ow is Unconditionally by Katy Perry. (In her new album)

Stuff I have to do between now and Friday are that I have to finish both assignments (science and literature). STUDY. Write next chapters in my two books.

Food I'm looking forward to eating are pizza, rainbow cupcakes, red velvet cupcakes, malteaser cupcakes.

The thing I'm looking forward to seeing the results of are the Carley's Clear and Smooth face wash.

So long my dears,

Hey Guys,
I'm sooo excited tomorrow me and Steph are going to Melbourne on a shopping spree. I also found this really cool denim vest at Jay Jays but I decided to save up my money for tomorrow because we would be going to the city. Oh I almost forgot to mention Jay Jays have this really cool deal going on at the moment it is called Double Deals. It ends like this Friday the 3rd of october. Tomorrow I hope we can go to Ally, Jay Jays, Valley Girl, Chic a Bootie, and Daiso. I also need to get a new hair straightener so I hope I can find a good one in Melbourne tomorrow. I think I will do a post where I do reviews about the things I bought, how much they cost, where I got them, and I might even post a pick of myself wearing it. So get excited.

The shopping centre in Melbourne we will be going to is Fountain Gate Westfield, it is by far my favourite shopping centre, we might also go to ikea, and eat at a restaurant called The Booth for dinner. The food at The Booth is really yummy the cuisine is taiwanese.

I also finished making my quilt! I'm so happy I finally finished it. It took me so much time, not to mention blood, sweat, and tears. I can't believe it turned out so well considering I didn't have a colour pallet. Hopefully I will get a good mark. But unfortunately we have to do this really huge assignment to go with the quilt. But then again if you do any art related project, or if you do food tech you have to hand in a really big portfolio.

Even though I am known as a geek (nerd, whatever you want to call it) it still seems like a lot. So just cos someone seems to study all the time doesn't mean they love doing huge assignments (totally not like your stereotype geek, huh :-).

So think about these things before you choose a subject especially if you don't want to do a really long assignment or get lots of homework. Subjects to look out for if you are lazy: art (huge portfolio, especially in VCE, or so I heard), food tech (heaps of homework, don't know form experience, but see some friends and their food tech work, so not funny almost had a nightmare, no daymare just thinking about it), textiles (very similar to art, except your making stuff not drawing/painting). But thankfully our school doesn't really give us much homework. We are lucky to get homework once a week. So I guess I am really just winging over nothing, but be ware if you don't go to a school that doesn't give much homework. By the way just in case you were wondering, this only applies to you if you are in year 9 and above because you can pick some of your subjects.

Just in case any of you were wondering (probably not) I am doing literature, textiles, and PE (I hate PE, but unfortunately it is compulsory to do PE at our school until you are in year 11, or start of VCE. But then again the practical and theory (the part that teaches you about the bees and whatever, you know what I mean, you get my flow) and the theory part is compulsory so you have to do both parts of PE.

Anyways back to the topic before large portfolios and what subjects you shouldn't choose if you are lazy I'm going to give the quilt to my friend, Steph.

If anyone has any suggestions as to what I should do for my next update please comment.

until next time
love

Sunday 22 September 2013

hey guys,
I just wanted to dedicate this post to the random person who voted for my book "NK Virus" on wattpad. By the way you guys can check it out on this link-NK Virus. This weekend was probably the most eventful for me socially. Me and Steph went to a shopping center on Friday night, in the end we bought this awesome lipstick from Rimmel it was in their new range of Appocolips lipsticks (if I spelt it right). The lipstick is a pinkish red and is kind of bright, but not too bright. The next day dad dropped me off at her house at quarter past nine. We then watched Pitch Perfect. After hanging out at her place we went to my house and played dress up. I know it might seem a little too childish but it was a bit like going to a shop and trying on dresses except, I owned all the dresses not to mention we were trying to see if there was a perfect dress I could wear to the High Tea our school is hosting (unfortunately it is a girls only function), or maybe to the end of year formal. Although I might not be going because if I am going to go to Taiwan then my mum, and brother :(. But on the bright side I will be able to buy cute and cool clothing that will be cheaper than buying them over here. Even though it is only the 4th day of the holidays I have to say I am starting to miss all my friends at school and my bus buddies.

Till the next time I update,

Love
Jemma

PS: I thought this post was kind of boring, do you guys have any good ideas as how to make it a little more interesting? It would be much appreciated if you do.

Tuesday 17 September 2013

Hey Dudes,
this is my second last day I have to go to school. After this it is the holidays. woo hoo.

The funniest things that happened to me was in first period math class on Monday. Me and Marcus (my male BFF) were debating about something in math when a girl in our class was like "when are you guys going to stop dating?" (There is like this rummer going around the whole school that we are a thing, but that rumer is false) I was like "we're not dating in the first place." and Marcus was like"When you go and stick your head up an elephants butt." She was like "Oh, I'm going to do that like next week."(She wasn't offended when he said this because she was joking with us when she said the first comment, and so was he). Then I was like "is she for real." They both look at me with pity. (I am really gullible and I don't get sarcasm most of the time, Marcus sometimes jokes and says that  my real hair colour must be blond, I just used dyed  it brown). But don't judge me yet. It was a Monday morning, and I was still tired. Not to mention this girl was in a play, so at that moment in time I came up with this logical explanation as to why she would have to stick her head up an elephants butt.
The second funny thing that happened was during lunch today. Me and Shelby were sitting outside the science lab talking. We were sitting like next to the door, when the teacher that basically lives in the lab where her office is came out. But the funny thing was before she came out, I heard a noise coming from inside the lab, then all of a sudden a face appears. At first I thought it was a zombie, ghost, or monster coming out to eat me. So all of a sudden I gasp really loudly and my eyes get like ten times bigger. Shelby sees this and all of a sudden the teacher comes out. At that moment in time I just realized what a stupid assumption I made for 1 zombies and monster don't exist. Secondly nearly every time we have sat outside the lab she has come out, so I should have known. Thirdly, she looks nothing like a zombie, monster, or ghost. Lastly, if there was going to be a zombie Apocalypse why would it start in our lab. We are such a small school, and we don't have many life threatening chemicals in the lab, if any. Anyway after the teacher came out, and after I had realized all those things in like 10 nano seconds I started laughing. I had just realized what a stupid mistake I had made. I stated laughing so hard my stomach and back stated aching. not to mention I started crying and rolling on the ground. In fact even after the teacher came back like five minutes later I was still laughing. When she got back she told me to calm own and take a few deep breaths. After that I explained to her why I was laughing so hard, when I was so shocked like ten nano seconds after she stepped out that door. I swear she must have thought we were on crack, we were both laughing so hard.

By the way do I think my life could be made into a comic comment if you think so, or not
love from,
Jemma xxoo

Tuesday 10 September 2013

Hey Guys,
It is almost the holidays, only 8 more days until then. I'm soooo excited. I am going to have a sleepover with my BFF Steph during the holidays. We are going to have such an awesome time watching movies and eating yummy food. Hopefully I will be able to put up some of the recipes up here so that you guys will be able to try them out too. But unfortunately we will be having a science test tomorrow and a math test Tuesday next week. Nothing much really happened in the time I didn't update. I pretty much just went to school, studied for my tests, ate, slept, drank, and played video games. The most interesting conversation that happened to me this week was when me and Shelby were playing 20 questions. The funniest things that happened were when me, Steph, and a year 10 were reading stuff on Tumbler, we almost wet ourselves. Also my mum's lecturer (she studies nursing) was telling  them about this dude put a nut (you know the kind that you use to hold screws in place) on his piece of junk. He ended up in the emergency ward in the hospital, and while the two nurses and two doctors, and the bystander (my mum's lecturer) were debating how to get the nut off the guy's dick. The dude (he was Indian, so it will sound way cooler if you say read this in an Indian accent) said "(In an Indian accent) It has never got stuck so I couldn't get it off before." Everyone that was there was like " You've done this before???????" Then the dude said " All you have to do is get rid of the swelling then you will be able to get the nut off" The doctors, nurses, and bystander were like "The swelling is too much and we can't get the blood to flow properly there, so that won't work." So after some time they called up another area in the hospital and asked for some advice on how to get the nut off. The person there suggested using something they would have used to help get rings off patients that had swelling in their hands. They tried this method but unfortunately it didn't work. But then again you have to remember that a nut is like 2 cm thick (or something like that, but you get my flow right?). Then they ended up calling up some people from the fire department (five guys dressed up in ALL their gear, everything). The firemen were like "I thought I'd seen it all guess not." So here are 2 nurses, 2 doctors, 1 bystander, and 5 firemen all brainstorming together trying to figure out how to get this nut off the guy's penis. Eventually they called another person up and this smart guy suggested using a metal grinder. because they didn't want this guy to feel too much pain from that they gave him some medication so that he would fall asleep and hopefully wouldn't remember anything (it might give him some trauma or something like that). But because when you grind metal the metal gets hot and it starts to spark, so they had to wrap his junk in wet gauze, and properly protect that area so that his thing wouldn't get too damaged after they had removed the nut. So here they are grinding away at the nut, and guess what, it took them 5 hours, and a few things that they use to grind metal with to get through the whole nut, ad that was only one side of it. After they had got the nut off the guys penis because one of the head nurses in charge wanted to give him a fine because he had wasted so many people's time and resources just because he decided to do something so stupid. But in the end she couldn't do that because he was in the emergency ward.
So yeah this was the most exciting thing I have heard this week.
Until next week (hopefully I have been a bit slack),
